Although I don't know that piece of shit who's doing this to you, I know his type quite well. Sounds like he's suing you because you hurt his feelings. What kind of fucking country has this turned into anyways? What a pussy! How can this guy call himself a man and look at himself in the mirror every morning with some sort of self-respect? If it had been me that you were dissing instead of him, I would probably tell you to shut the fuck-up, leave me alone, and then never talk to you again. I certainly wouldn't take you to court and prove to even more people what a dickless wonder I really am.

He's suing her because she accused him of beating women (without proof), put his full name on her blog so that it would show-up in google searches (that employers now regularly due as part of the hiring process), then warned any potential employer not to hire him. She was not content to write about him several times prior - she wanted to publicly disparage him.

As to why this happened, its because they are both overgrown, 30-year-old + children who can not engage in adult relationships in a mature manner. So don't blame the judicial system, blame walking train-wrecks who cram it full of ridiculous litigation because they are incapable of functioning normally in society.
 

Excuse me, Anonymous, but if you are not Ryan or one of his friends, how the fuck do you know so much about this situation? Either you are lying about who you are, or you have spent ENTIRELY too much time obsessing about this since I wrote the entry in question months ago. Even my most ardent Razzyphiles needed a refresher about the details of this situation, but you seem to have it memorized, which seems more than a little extreme for someone who has just taken a passing interest in it.

We all get it: I'm immature, I'm getting what I deserve, I'm a trainwreck, blah blah blah. Since we've all gotten your point, why don't you go get a fucking life?
 

I have a life - so much of one that I don't have to publish it publicly in a desperate attempt garner attention. And why the incredulity? While your average prol commenter may have difficulty recalling something they read a scant few weeks ago, for someone of average intelligence, its not that great of a feat.

In an attempt to head of what was obviously going to happen, I warned you not to publish that comment about that guy. Your response? "Fuck you" (not verbatim - my summery). Call me a "hater" (God, that term is so 2005), but I was trying to do you a favor.

Here's the settlement you're looking at:

1. Withdraw any reference to the guy, either explicit or implied

2. Private apology if he's smart, public apology if he's stupid

3. Insignificant monetary damages (probably reimbursement of fees)

The fact that you continue to discuss the matter publicly suggests you aren't taking it seriously enough.
